Cancellation and Refund Policy for Chaitus Media

At Chaitus Media, we strive to provide exceptional photography and videography services. However, we understand that plans may change. Below is our policy regarding cancellations and refunds:


1. Booking Deposit

  • All bookings require a non-refundable deposit to confirm the reservation of our services. This deposit secures our time and availability for your event.
  • The booking deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances except when the cancellation is initiated by Chaitus Media.

2. Cancellation Policy

  • Client-Initiated Cancellations:
    • Cancellations must be made in writing via email or other formal communication channels.
    • If the cancellation is made less than 30 days before the event date, the client will be responsible for 50% of the agreed service fee.
    • Cancellations made within 7 days of the event will require full payment of the agreed service fee.
  • Chaitus Media-Initiated Cancellations:
    • In the rare event that we must cancel services due to unforeseen circumstances, the client will receive a full refund of any payments made, including the booking deposit.

3. Rescheduling Policy

  • Rescheduling requests must be made in writing and are subject to availability.
  • If the client requests rescheduling within 30 days of the event, a rescheduling fee may apply.
  • Chaitus Media reserves the right to decline rescheduling requests that conflict with other bookings.

4. Refund Policy

  • Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within 14 business days of receiving a formal cancellation or refund request.
  • Refunds are issued via the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.
  • No refunds will be provided for services already rendered, including partial deliverables such as edited photos or videos.

5. Exceptions

  • Exceptions to this policy may be considered on a case-by-case basis at the sole discretion of Chaitus Media.
  • Special considerations may apply for events canceled due to force majeure events (e.g., natural disasters, government restrictions).
